It seems like a very interesting book! I know that I am not a fan of more graphic situations in novels, so it's a relief to hear that it is not explicitly graphic. I am also pleased that the technical jargon will not overwhelm me (as I am also clueless when it comes to anything nautical). I look forward to reading it!

Nice review!! I enjoy reading action- crime novels but still not sure if this is the one for me. I'll have to read the sample before I make my decision.

Thank you for the review. It's nice to know the author avoided placing very graphic descriptions on those risque scenes. Still, I'm not usually into these genre of books and I'm not that fond of sea-based settings. If no other book picks my interest, I'll still try and check out this book.

The book is sure nice. The story line has got me wanting to read it right now. I love the setting and also the fact that it addresses multiple themes. The review is very good and big ups for writing it. I hope Danielle succeeded.

I enjoyed your review. The seems to be a strong female character who doesn’t immediately go damsel in distress, which I always respect. I love the family ties and vast differences in interests. Pirat s are always good too. I’m not sold on the book as much as I am your review.

Even though I like the idea of pirates, I'm just not into the plot of this book, especially the "international waters" part. I'm also not a fan of books that explore " the importance of family" even though I very much appreciate the strong female character that Danielle is. With that being said, I thank you for the thorough review and am glad you enjoyed the tome.

I like your review about the good fight. I am not into action novels but I already like Danielle's strong character since she doesn't let stress to rule her life by focusing on dancing instead. I am so sure this book would make for a good movie if acted out. I can tolerate watching action movies but not sure when it comes to reading.

I love that this isn’t a “damsel in distress” theme. That one has been done to death. And the fact that serious topics have been dealt with finesse adds to the book’s strengths.

Great review.

Thanks for your review. I like thrillers and books with a nautical setting. I look forward to reading this one and hope the errors are not too distracting.

I think it's really cool that she's not a damsel in distress! That makes the book more interesting. I hope to overlook the errors whenever I get around to reading it.

Sounds like a difficult read since it talks of serious issues like murder, rape, physical and sexual abuse. However, i like that the author is able to highlight such serious issues that many other authors shy away from. Thanks for the review.

When you mentioned pirates, it is enough for me to bumped this into my to-read list. This book seems to have well-developed characters. Even if the plot might not be that interesting, readers tend to get attached to the characters and will continue reading. I like how it touches certain societal issues mainly because it could be a platform to raise awareness, especially for the victims, and destroy whatever stigma the issues have. Also, adventure in the sea is fantastic! Definitely would read this.

This review really males this book sound like an exiting story. A great mix of action and romance with some conspiracy thrown in sounds like a book that's right up my alley. I love a good crime thriller that keeps me guessing with unexpected plot twists. Thanks for the review.

I'm not much for action or thriller-type books, but this sounds like it's got a lot going on and like the author balanced it all well.

This book has a very interesting mix on it, pirates, sea, dance, and law enforcement agencies. It looks like a very challenging plot, I need to read it to see how it evolves. Thanks for your review.
