This book seems so interesting. After reading the extract and your review, I just had to buy it to find out what happened next. While I think you're right that it can be a bit frustrating sometimes to only get a glimpse into each character's life, from the extract anyway these characters are fleshed out enough that this doesn't matter. You understand each character's motivations, and the glimpse of the bigger picture provided by each chapter is fascinating. I can't wait to finish reading it.

A series of vignettes that weave together to create a whole story is an intriguing choice for a narrative. I tend to like the idea of switching things up like that to keep my interest piqued. Sounds like a great book.

Thank you for the well written review! After reading the sample, this book has me intrigued simply by the style of writing alone. The use of insect like imagery for the prime minister and his gaurds in the first chapter was an interesting choice that I really enjoyed. The characters feel like they could be uniquely used in such a way to create an interesting discussion on international relations and the intangible delicate balance between the powers of the world.

I have not read such an amazing book before.
It is so good, didn't got distracted for a moment. Glimpses of characters are enjoyable, gives a mirror view of mysteries of world. Love the author's unique style of presentation. I personally loved it. Great Work.!!

When I read the original, short, description it left the impression that the characters, while tied together somehow, were from different eras in time, which really intrigued me. Still, the concept of viewing the world, even if it's the same event, from different peoples perspective sounds like something I would enjoying reading. Thanks for the review!

Your review was excellent. The preview was sad but fitting. I wanted to know more about both the assassian and Kurt but was left hanging. I’d be willing to read to see the other POVs but the sad ending is a slight turnoff at this point in my life.

I am not one for politics. As I was reading along on Amazon, I was completely lost. Characters and locations jumped around throughout. Your review kind-of made understanding and sense. I am not sure if I would want to read the entire book though or not. I would probably have nightmares.

I can appreciate the comment by the reviewer that the book would be a great read for those who enjoy a good dystopian novel, but that is just not my preferred genre. It does sound like the plot is very intricate and exciting with the author using so many different characters and settings. The plot does sound a little disturbing especially based on what our country is currently experiencing. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds very interesting in the way a doomsday event is portrayed through the eyes
of 12 seperate people and I am curious how their lives might intersect. It is unfortunate there
were enough grammatical errors or missing words that it spoiled a perfect rating from you. I
have to be in the right mood for this genre, however, your review has spiked my interest in getting
this book.
