I read the free pages on Amazon, which includes the prologue and the first chapter and I thought it was a nice book. Thanks for your review, I am warned that those are the best parts already. I might not try finishing the whole thing after all.

Although I am not particularly a fan of graphic novels, I found, from a sample, that the story was well written and appeals to an older audience. Well done.

From looking at the cover I did not think this would interest me in any way, but I have to say that your review has me intrigued. I appreciate your mention of individual character quirks, and describing it as "more supernatural with whispers of horror" also has piqued my interest.

Excellent and witty review of the book, The Wall by some Guy.

I read the sample of the book and found that this particular sci-fi story does not appeal to my tastes. I will pass on this one.

I'm typically turned off of books that focus on politics or political figures but the addition of supernatural enemies certainly spices up the story. I have read some books that were in this same field of literature and enjoyed them.

What a shame the author couldn't maintain the dramatic tension for the whole story! The cliffhangers and unanswered questions will likely be answered in Book 2, though this isn't best practice.

Doesn't sound like it would be my kind of book due to the outcome being inevitable after the ceremony. Was a bit taken aback by the assumption DMoney would speak Ebonics based on his name. Quite frankly the "cultured and clipped tones" sounds a little too obvious an alternative and so just as stereotypical. Just not really interested in excitement and don't see how there can be much suspense in an inevitable outcome.

Like the reviewer, I really enjoyed the character development and great suspense building. I wasn't crazy about the epilogue as I abhor torture and probably won't read further past the excerpt that I did, but from what I did read it is a very well written book and the characters and plot were very well developed and I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed this genre and didn't mind a bit of gore and torture.

You have written an excellent review and I agree that this is a very well written book with great character development. I, however, do not enjoy horror stories, so after reading the sample and your review, I will not be reading the rest of this story!

The cover of this book is so good. I enjoy reading sci-fi and horror genre with a lot of suspense, action and horror. It has been added to my to be read shelf. Thanks for the insightful review.

I like how author added the idiosyncrasies you mentioned. I personally like it when the book have these certain characters that would make you give a concern for them until the end. I am not really fond of action and horror based genre but i think, if i would get to know the characters it wouldn't be a problem for me. Though i wouldnt read this immediately because of the horror genre, I'd still read this whenever i have time. I really like the author's pseudonym too! Very clever! Thanks for the review!

I like the premise of the plot but this is not a book I would read. Your review was nicely done!

This sounds like something I will like. I'm also a big horror fan. However, not getting any answers sounds very disappointing. I actually like the sound of the included illustrations rather than a straight up graphic novel. Thanks for your great insight!

This book is not really my kind but the authors name 'Some Guy' is quite intriguing. Anyway, thanks for your review.
