A thriller set in the world of cutting-edge medical research sounds intriguing. Two scientists wants to find a cure to Alzheimer, each from his own reasons. I wonder who won the race to the finish line!! I am glad you enjoyed the despite the slow pace. It is good that the characters were realistic, the writing superb, and the plot suspenseful. Thank you for the review!

If it had your angry and shouting at nothing then it definitely is going on the "Want To Read" shelf! I wasn't sold until I got to that part of your review, the plot doesn't sound that exciting, but if the writing is good enough to make you emotional then I will give it a shot!

This book has an amazing onlinebookclub review that forced me to read the book. It's an interesting murder mystery thriller with hints of horror. I loved the book and rated it 3 out of 4 stars.

I definitely want to read this. Thank you for the recommendation. I love thrillers for the quality that you can't necessarily expect certain plot points to fall in place :techie-studyingbrown: :techie-studyingbrown: :techie-studyingbrown:

I wasn't sure about this one after reading the sample, but your review may have convinced me to give this a shot. Thanks for your thoughts!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I like mysteries. I'm now curious to know who won the prize between Eric and Pamela. I'm also looking forward to finding out if either of them found the cure. I'm glad you shared your feelings about the book. This means it is engaging and I will probably enjoy it too. Thanks for your excellent review.

Great review. I love a good crime/thriller/suspense/mystery read. I also really enjoy when they involve not only psychological elements but also science and medicine. A book that captures you do complete and gets you invested in the characters is a must read for me. Thanks so much for sharing.

Sounds like a story could really get invested in. I love it when a story makes the characters seem realistic. Feels like you're part of the story at that point.

A crime thriller with lively characters sounds like a book I'll enjoy. Two people racing toward the cure for Alzheimer's one for fame and fortune the other simply for a cure is an interesting premise. Definitely adding this book to my TBR list and congrats on being BOTD.

One will always tell how interesting a book is from the review. Thanks for the review. It has helped to confirm the feeling I had about the book after reading the first sample pages.
