I read this one. I have mixed feelings about it. Women and girls having trouble bridging the gap between feminism and faith will enjoy this book. Good review. Thanks!

Not really a fan of religious satire. Even though the coming of age part of this book and the discussion about a woman's role in biblical readings sounds interesting. I think the mix of comedy might be too much for me. But great job on your review!

I like how you made the comparison to Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables. I think that makes the character very likable. However, I don't think I could handle the satiric aspect of the novel towards religion, so I don't think I will be reading this novel. Thank you for your review!

Thanks for the great review, the book is great but i don't really have interest in reading religion books. However, I found the other issues raised in the book as related by the reviewer such as women’s liberation and the transitory nature of life quite intriguing.

Well that was a different kind of book than what I expected from the title. Just from a sampling, the story was well written with thoroughly developed characters that have this real life feel to them as the main character deals with the concept of growing up in a strict Christian household and how the symbolism of the story makes the character seem more in tune with the Creation stories than some of the other characters. Well done.

Examining the title alone makes me want to read this novel. I thought that Satan will be seen physically so that human beings can dodge and manipulate him. But, when I read the review, my perspective has changed.

While I'm not generally a fan of satire I'd like to read this book for the catholic elements. I was catholic for a large part of my life and listening (or reading) to other people explain or relate the symbolism is always entertaining. Thank you for the review.

I love a good satire. And this one gives a message about how domestic altercations have an impact on young minds - that's something not many books seem to do.

Nice review, I wonder why people will say the cover of the books make the book not to look interesting but to me the title and the cover gives me interest in the book make me want to know more about the book and how it is played, how the devil was dodged and what the creepy childhood was, nice.

Nicely written review! You entice me with the prospect of finding some humorous moments within its pages, but also forewarn me that more serious issues are broached. One minor change I would make. I would start with the second sentence of your review first and get into the action right away. Good job!

As I sampled the initial few pages, I totally agree with the reviewer that this book is funny and entertaining. I am neither a catholic nor a religious person so, nothing in this book will be offensive for me, personally. I like the way it has written and would like to mention that as the reviewer has mentioned there might be some typos as I found one in the very first pages. Overall it seema like a good book and willing to read it soon.

Thank you for the good, descriptive and honest review 👍👍

Good job!!! This will draw the attention of all male readers to put a stop to domestic violence if they practice it. It's going to be very entertaining to read, because of the humour in it.
