This book is full of religious beliefs and I'm finding it difficult to comprehend some of the contents. I'm wondering how holy water can drive away Satan. I thought it's only prayer that can do that. This book is not for me.

The book sounds interesting and I find it really good that the book not only entertains the mind but also fills the heart with some serious topics like understanding the Bible, relationships between men and women in marriage and others. Thanks for making your book free and congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Wonderful book speaking of how women are underrated by almost everyone, even religion. I love the fact that the writer brings in humor in this sensitive issue as it helps ease the pressure although others may find it offensive and attacking their faith.

Thank you for your intriguing review of Dodging Satan. I love religious satire. The book sounds promising with its focus of symbology and other stuff outlined in the review.

I enjoy a good satire, one of my favourite genres. But being a religious person, I do hope the humour in the book wasn't too sacrilegious, because that would spoil my enjoyment of the book.

Although presented in a light-hearted manner, I think the subject matter may be a little off-putting to me. I did appreciate your thorough review and suggestion on readership.

I have conflicting feelings on this book. On one hand, I like the humor in looking through a child's eyes on how to interpret life and religious ideas. On the other hand though, some of those religious ideas seemed be mocked. I probably won't read this one.

After reading your review I may give this one a try. I was totally turned off by the title but you made it sound charmingly interesting. Indeed a child's mind is very much so affected by these things.

Based on the review, this book sounds like a must read. The idea that the bible portrays women as the less significant gender and the obvious discrimination is right on point. The story line described using a young girl to uncover and analyze these issues with a little humor thrown in, sounds intriguing. Thanks for the review.

At first I wasn't sure that this is a book I would enjoy, but after reading your review and learning the topic is approached with humor I have decided to give it a closer look.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book based on your review. And the main character being similar to Anne Shirley? I'm not sure how I feel about that, either. I might give it a try, though. Not really going to be excited about it.

The family secrets and the secrets of Bridget seem to be the interesting aspects of the book. I also like that the book sounds funny and amusing. I am going to add it to my to-read list. Thanks for the informative review.

Sounds like an interesting book but not really something that I will be interested in reading!
