Great review! Good eye about the fact that there are no Australian-specific aspects to the dialogue. The story and premise sound interesting, but I have mixed feelings about reading it because it sounds like it may be poorly researched, which usually bugs me.

The description of the book left something to be desired. Not really interested, especially with the teenage sex and party scenes. I thought your review was concise and to the point, which I like.

Teenage paranormal romances are not my favorite and I despise flat dialogue, so I will pass, but congrats on the #BOTD.

Excellent review with solid critiques. Sounds like a unique spin on a coming of age novel.

This sounds like an interesting book, though I don't know if the book is necessarily my genre. I've grown rather weary of paranormal romances the past couple months. thanks for your honest review though!

Romance stories sometimes could be interesting to young adults because they have a strong feeling of getting a lover who will always be by his or her side. We all know that these romance stories almost always are true stories fixed by authors.

Interesting post, I have read the short story of "Melanie's Evanescent Journey" I want to read more about the paranormal activities, what little I have read lead me to believe that someone in the group has a mysterious supernatural ability which could be Jason. Because when the car crash at the service station he was the first one to rush to aid the person in side. He could have been the one who use his paranormal instinct to circle that flame given him enough time to rescue him. So I am anxious to find out who is the one or if it is all three of the siblings. Your review has inspired me to read more about what happened.

Thank you for a very good review. However, I do not agree with the age recommendation. The characters are not doing anything high-school kids are not familiar with. I read the 1st chapter to sample the book but when I read your review, I discovered there was much more to the story. Thank you and Congrats on the BOTD, B Truly!

A book that I want and love to read are scifi and love story. This is really worth to read overnight. I'm just quite disappointed that hes an alien maybe im just one of a fan of vampire love stories because usually they use vampire as a leading man. But its great to read and I love it.

This seems like an interesting young adult novel with some fantasy/paranormal themes! Melanie is drawn to Jason and isn't sure what is causing it. Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

I was a little concerned when I saw on the Amazon page that it was a later book in a series, but it's nice to know it can stand on its own. I wish I knew more of what the conflicts in the story are, because from the blurb it sounds like a very typical paranormal YA romance, but good to know I'm to expect some mature themes and sexual content. A little disappointing that Melanie doesn't feel very Australian as little details like give more realism to the story and characters, but it sounds like you had fun overall!

Great review I have read the sample and its quite intriguing. I love the easy language use and a steady plot. The author has done a great job on combining romance adventure and some super natural influence. I love how B Truly maintains a balance of all characters but Jason looks like a good mystery enough to keep you glued to the end. Definitely, must finish reading

The review gave me a glimpse of what is inside the book; it was just like a tease, only a taste that entices me to read it to know the mystery surrounding the main character.
