Ferdinand_otieno wrote: 04 Jun 2018, 09:22 This is an amazing political thriller that highlights conflict and how people react to it. I enjoyed the book and rated it 4 out of 4 stars. I would recommend that readers first sample the amazingly written onlinebookclub review of the book before reading it.
I see that this book is all about political and geographical representation of Ireland. The author did so well by mixing it up with love, suspense, betrayal scandals, and related happenings. It is well portrayed in this elegant book. :tiphat:

The review is very informative, thanks a lot for writing it. The narration technique is good since it is full of dialogues also. It is hard to get much about the book hence I will consider reading it also.

Such a comprehensive review. Joe, a tourist familiarizes himself with the local people of Ireland and gets to understand their religion also. He is also captured by the beauty of Fiona along his undercover job.

The reviewer indicates that there is a lot of the history of the rebellion and its affect on Ireland and the Irish people in this book. That makes it very interesting to me. I also am attracted to the character development that the reviewer mentioned. However, if the dialogue seems forced between any of the characters, I might get bored. But, it does seem that there is enough mystery in the plot to keep my interest up. Thanks for a great review.

A country with a violent and troubled history which had long-lasting effects on generations is an important knowledge. Am interested in Joe's uncertain mission and love life. Great review.

Well developed characters really make this story come to life. Joe's adventures in Ireland also add to the thrill of the story and the review supports that. This is a book I'll definitely add to my tbr list.

This seems like a very well developed, interesting book. Unfortunately, I am atheist, so I would not understand a conflict on religions as much.

I like the idea of the writer making the book a stand-alone one. Am one of the audience. Sweet review, the author must be sure proud of his work.

I do like the manner in which the reviewer put it. I do not like undercover stories though.

This book is about past conflict in Ireland and how it affected the future generation. The conflicts are caused by religion. Revenge seems to be on the mind of those affected. The story is complete with a mission and love twist. It looks like it is going to be a good read. I might give this book a try. Thanks for the review.

What I learnt from the book is how important religion is in solving conflict. I gave it a 4 star rating.
