Such a humorous title we have over here. The writer does not babysit you by telling you to just have a positive thinking and you will succeed but goes a mile further but telling that you must WORK differently to achieve the different desire. I love the fact that the book is divided into four sections as this will help it be easier to follow.

Thank you for a thorough review. Judging by the title, I had already marked this book off as a "pass". Why would I take advice from an author who resorts to scatology (even if it is punny). Though I have to admit I've given the "get your head out of your but" advice myself.

It's clear from your review that this book should be taken more seriously than the title suggests. I like the idea that you have to define success for yourself before you can expect to achieve it. Success is such a loaded word, because we are a very competitive society, that it's important to note that success can mean very different things to different people. It's not necessarily a competitive concept, if you see it more as trying to meet your own goal for yourself.

This was a well written, thoroughly structured to help the reader help themselves. Self help books are usually a dime a dozen and most are designed to make the reader jump head first into whatever "help" the book is designed for. Here, this book is designed to make the reader progressively get better. Well done.

Self helps really aren't my thing, but this one looks unique, so I'm reviewing it. Hopefully it'll have some decent advice.

I do think we have to live our lives beyond dreams and imaginations. We need to put the dreams to work.

First thing that caught my attention "Get Your Head Outta Your But's". I'm ashamed to say that I thought it was a typo  until I re-read the title and got the message. It definitely sounds like a book offering a no-nonsense, tough love approach. Thank you for the review.

I have always been a fan of self-improvement books, and let me tell you that I have read quite few. However; this book gives you a totally different insight. And it makes you realize that there is more for you. Starting from the first pages; you could feel that strenght flowing around your body and it hits you and then it makes you open your eyes and see lots of different possibilities and options you could not see before.

Thanks for your review! Self help book often come off as overly preachy or full of fluff. I'm happy that this one has useful tips to help anyone on their personal road to success and happiness.

It seems like this is a different take on how to get the life you want, but whether the approach is uplifting or tough love, I really don't want to hear it. Not because it's not valid, but because we all know hard work pays off. We all know positive thinking helps the mindset. I'm glad it was enjoyable and if I'm ever in the market for this type of read, I would probably seek out this one first. Thanks for a great review!

Great review. It is very organized and you can tell you really focused on the books content. I am not a huge fan of self help books but you piqued my interest for this one. Thank you for sharing.

Not into self-help, but I think that everyone could use some inspiration. I'm so glad that it's a no-nonsense guide. I think everyone could use something like this in their lives. I can't wait to read this.

The title is striking and a clever take on the "Why don't you ...? Yes, but ..." game. Your thorough review helped the idea of this book to grow on me. I liked the anecdote about the car - it is certainly a good example of outside-the-box thinking to tell someone who wants to borrow money that if they're promising to earn the money to pay you back, they might as well do that in the first place! Given how risky it is to lend money, that's an excellent idea. The author also sounds very grounded in reality, stressing the importance of focus and W-O-R-K.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".
