Michael Campbell had me at the Preface, but then he lost me again in Chapter 1. But, but, but...he had me again soon enough. Although I don't enjoy S&M depictions, the story is so well-written and the plot so interesting that I just kept reading, and now I want to finish the book.

There are two reviews of this book; yours awards it the perfect rating while the other one gives it the worst grade. I am not a fan of erotica but love crime thrillers, so I am on the fence right now. Let me taste the sample and see whether that lures me to read Tom and Ginger's story.

Thank you for the intriguing review, Rosemary Wright!

I definitely do not read erotica, and mostly especially would avoid BDSM. I can see where at least there is some sort of storyline beyond every type of sexual escapade. I can and will read something with the occasional steamy scene, but this sounds like it is just too much.

Thanks for the descriptive review and the warning, which I read after trying several pages of this book. After reading about Tom, the abuse he puts up with and the women he seems to be working for was enough for me. The genre is not my taste so I will be passing on this one.

Not a fan of a crime, drugs, vulgar words and even explicit sexual content in a book.
So I say no to this book.

Thank you for your very honest and professional review. I must confess that romance between a man and a woman is up my alley.

The summary given in this review is confusing, I couldn't make sense of the plot or who's who in the story.

Exactly I normally prefer a romantic erotic novel. While I don't mind a bit of darkness, the focus on abuse and servitude is not to my taste

I can't wait to read this book. Based on the review it will be one of those "can't put down - read it in a weekend" books. Guess what... it is Saturday! My lucky day.

I don't read erotica, but I do appreciate your candor. Nothing like an honest review to help further your opinion or help you change it! At any rate, great job!

The plot seems interesting. I wonder how Ginger's feelings for Tom affected her relationship with Jacqueline. I'm a bit hesitant to read it due to the excessive sexual content, though. Still, I would put it in my to-read list for now.

This review of the book is very helpful. I am not a fan of this genre and won't be reading the book. I'm glad you found the characters to be well developed if not likable and that the book was arousing to you.

Maybe a good psychological thriller, not a problem for me! But kinky characters, steamy sex lives, open relationships, much profanity, and more a big problem for me, as well as too much information disclosed within a review #NotInterested #IPass Best wishes to the author on the #BOTD 💔
