Thanks for the review. It sounds like an inspirational story, and I hope that writing it has helped the author overcome such a traumatic experience. These type of books are usually not my thing, although one can never rule out their reading because we never know what can happen to us or someone we know.
liftedbooks wrote: 28 May 2018, 02:31 Does the book not have a cover or is it just my browser? Sounds like a very good and inspiring book. The review touches o everything I would expect to read in a book like this. Thank you, I think I will add this one to my reading list.
I followed the Amazon link and uploaded the one that appears there on the bookshelves page (which, by the way, has a very good design).

Three years is a long time of recovery. It must have been so difficult to maintain hope and be patient. The different perspectives shared must have added some depth to the storytelling, though I could see the danger of repetition. Great job on this review!

I am starting to feel like this website is being taken over my inspirational stories about people who have overcome trauma, abuse, or illness. It is great to see that even with so many to choose from, this one stands out as worthy of 4 stars.

I think I would like the fact that you get various points of view although I can see how the redundancy might make the book drag about. Nice review.

I can't imagine what that must have been like to endure such physical pain and recovery. It makes me cringe. I'm so glad Julie was able to share her story to provide some guidance and support to those affected by trauma. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I’m not really interested in this type of book, but it could definitely inspire someone who is in a difficult situation.

This story is very touching. I can relate to Julia's story because I've survived a similar ordeal in the past and my friends and family were very supportive and helped me through my rough times. Thanks for your in-depth review.

This is such an important book. Discussing traumatic experiences openly sure takes a lot of courage. I think I'd want to read Julie's story.
