This seems like a heartwarming story to read. I am interested in working in healthcare, so this would be a great book for me to read. Great job on your book review!

This book should serve as a shout out to the overworked yet underpaid health professionals. The author lets the readers take some glimpses of his experience as a care worker along with his parallel duty in the local authorities. Thanks for the thorough review.

Memorable moments in a persons life are very special. It is even more special when they share their experiences with total strangers. I am very invested in the deep moments of his life.

Today's #BOTD sounds like a great read! It really takes a special someone to fulfill these duties and find the beauty (and humor!) in the moments that life throws our way. The author sounds like a wonderful individual, and I am looking forward to hearing his stories and learning about his patients! :-) Great job on your review...thank you!

One more thing...I love that you included the quote at the end! Everything you said about it is so true. I'm a teacher, and it describes my day perfectly. Keeping a positive attitude lightens the load and reminds us that it'll all be okay at the end of the day. :-)

This should be an interesting read. A novel about a humorous insight into the life of a care worker and written personally by a care giver.

Indeed, there are lots of people out there whose roles in their area of work are indispensable but are not being recognized. Nice review there.

A life spent as a care worker while earning a minimum wage is truly challenging especially in today's world. It was reassuring that Chris managed to rise to the top. He is careful to remember his colleagues who earn meager wages but are still holding to their calling.

Thank you for this review! I immediately thought of my sister-in-law, an RN who has worked in the field for years. I've always wondered how she does it. I think I'll put this book on the birthday gift list for her!

This should be interesting to read. I have some of my closest friends working in care. I have to agree that they really are underpaid and also underappreciated. And sure, their interactions with clients are many times unbelievably bad, but there are also souls out there that are worth it. And if this is a story about those people, since in review you say stories are positive, I can see how this book could be very good.

Great review. It's true that home health care workers are the unsung heroes of the medical community. They work so hard for so little. Nice to see a book that addresses this issue.
