This is a purely original work - I don't think I've seen anything like it before. The stories of a care work - how incredibly special. With that being said, these are the kinds of stories I would prefer to HEAR be told. There is something special about listening. This is a great review.

It good to respect every job you are in. You do not know what is in store for you when you quit your job for the other. Your old job might pay better. But on a serious note care workers go through hell on the job field and should be appreciated. Nice review.

A lighthearted and humorous peek into a care worker's job. Makes you really respect the work care workers do, despite not being appreciated much.

A well written series of stories about by Mr. Bulteel about what it is like to be a care worker. Just from a sampling, the reader steps into the shoes (figuratively) of a care worker. Stories that are true and real life amounts are the hardest to find entertaining or interesting, but this book has performed the task expertly. Well done.

Thanks for the interesting review. I like that the author focuses on the positives and adds some humor to his story. I like that though there are negatives, that unlike most, he doesn't dwell on them and make them a huge thing. I have to agree that healthcare workers do so much and are often overlooked, but I think that this book will help draw some attention to them with a positiveness most won't be able to resist.

I can very well relate to the author's experiences. Though not a professional careworker, I care for my folks fulltime. My mother had stroke-induced dementia and proceeded to acquire a host of other ailments until she passed away in 2016. Now it's my dad's turn to suffer old-age dementia; he is 90.

The situations described in the book may seem humorous in hindsight, but the stress of the moment can sometimes be overwhelming. The elderly and others enfeebled by sickness need our love, care, and attention. May we have the patience and generosity to accomplish that challenging task.

Thanks, Christina Rose! I only wish the book can undergo better editing, so the message can be delivered all the better.

I also spent some time working in a variety of healthcare roles and can see why this book would be compelling. There are lessons in everyday experiences - and not just health care related. This sounds like a terrific read - thanks for an insightful review!

I, too, work in healthcare and I think this novel will give others who are not a general idea of what it is like in the healthcare field. I can't help but hope that there is something in here for the non-clinical staff (i.e. billers, customer support, etc) as they share in the scenarios from another point of view. I'm interested in reading this just so I can compare his stories with the many my coworkers and I have obtained.

This sounds like an enjoyable book for those who would be interested in learning about care work. I don't particularly care for books full of someone's personal anecdotes, but I am glad you were able to relate to and enjoy this book. I can just imagine the tales Mr. Bulteel has to tell after hearing from my aunt and grandmother the crazy things my grandfather did during his year with dementia. Even those with all of their mental faculties can be the center of goofy circumstances.

It’s nice to hear positive stories about care workers as they are in usually overworked and underpaid.

Seems to be an interesting read though not a genre that I'm interested in. It would be interesting for those who enjoy the literary genre and memoirs (of a sort).

As a former care worker I can totally relate to the authors experiences. Every day brings new challenges and frustrations, but there is always humour to be found as well! Congratulations on #BOTD.

Those care workers who are passionate in their dedication to help are indeed unsung heroes. The world needs human beings like you! Congrats to the author for coming up with a book as uplifting like this.
