keyboard Vs hand writen
initially kids should know what they are learning and i prefer hand written initially because it makes kids visualize for themselves what they are doing later as the technology is rapidly changing so keyboard should be used.

Editing is one thing writing is another. If I was to proof read it would have to be a type written paper. If I was to write with the intent of being published I would transcribe my writing to digital before submitting. Remember you can always print out text and edit but what publisher would take your hand written work and transcribe it themselves.Bookworm2011 wrote:This is a lot like what the publishing industry is getting into... would people prefer editing on paper or on screen. I feel like technology is taking over too much.
Personally I like the way it feels and looks when I write something on paper with a pen. I actually enjoy the way my handwriting looks. As odd as it sounds my handwriting is constantly evolving. If I see someone write a single letter a certain way and I like it I steal it if it works with my style of writing.
When you're grateful to them for giving you the things you should already have anyway, ask yourself why."

Father likes me typing (and I can type fast) but I still like to write because my hands get too rigid for piano playing afterwards.

Type Writing is an extremely under rated type of writing, although you can't backspace or rub out, and the keys are a bit shorter. At least you don't have to print it out, or worry about non-neat handwriting huh?Bighuey wrote:For me keyboard or typewriter is better. My hand writing is unreadable.

Sad.
Yes, my parents learned Palmer method, one at public school, one not. They were different as day and night and yet you could tell they both had the same basic method.
