SABRADLEY wrote: 11 Jun 2018, 16:40 It's so interesting that the book is broken up into weeks, but I completely agree with you that there should be a clear topic for each week. Perhaps there are way too many topics and they can't be reduced to 52? Still, a clear picture of the material would be a great idea. Thanks for an awesome review!
I am glad to know that my brain isn't the only one that likes to see 'order'. But, it is in PDF form, so the author could do a little arranging, and I think it would all still fall together beautifully. Thank you for reading my review. :)

Thank you for stopping by to read my review. The author may have missed it just a little bit in the organization part for me, but I think it still has a great message overall. :)

Great review. It sounds like a really useful companion, but as you say, one would expect a topic to be something to mull over for a week rather than just one day.

Thank you for the detailed review. It sounds like a great reference, but as you and Helen have mentioned, the issue probably needs more than a day to be mulled over.

A religious book that provides a better understanding of the bible sounds helpful. The division into brief daily passages makes it easy to read. Too bad about the few minor errors and the confusing arrangement. Not really my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

This is a religious educational book that I found quite interesting. The book is free on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful onlinebookclub review. I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars. Congrats on being the BOTD.

I'm not a very religious person, so I don't think this book is for me. I read the review and I like the idea of leaving spaces on the page for those who wish to write down their reflections - this is really good. I'm sure the book will find it's reader, the one who needs guidance, encouragement, comfort, and confirmation. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

To be sincere, I hardly have time to read the bible and at the same time have all the time to read pieces of art in the world. I think I will read the book.

A religious book that gives a better understanding of the Bible could be interesting. I also like that the author left room for a person to put their own feelings down like a journal. I grabbed my #free copy and congrats on being BOTD.

Many religious texts seem to want to complicate the relationship with God and the average person, but this book does the opposite. I am sure this would be a great addition to anyone's shelf who wanted to expand their understanding of the bible.

Nice review. This sounds like a great read for fans of Christian non-fiction and religious based self help books, and those looking for a daily way to feed their spiritual goals. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great devotional book to assist us in reading the Bible without feeling as if it is a burden. The writer also gives her inner understanding of the script which may come in handy when one wants to capture the scriptures meanings.

A daily devotional read where the author breaks down the Bible and goes on a deeper walk with God sounds good to those who are interested in the genre! The inclusion of both personal and Biblical scriptures seems like a good balance. It's great to hear that the brief passages are still deep and strengthened you in your own life. Too bad about the arrangement of the book being disappointing, and, I agree, it would probably be better if there were consistent weekly topics. It's frustrating that there were several errors here. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy this book regardless of its faults, though. Thank you for sharing!

I´m probably not the target audience for this book, but it´s great that it´s available for Christians who want to get to know the word of God in an approachable way and to include it in their daily activities. Whatever your practice may be, it sounds like a good idea to set apart a time of your day for spirituality and/or reflexion.
It´s too bad that the topics don´t match the weeks completely. Otherwise, it sounds like a good tool for Christians.
Very thorough review, thank you.
