I see this is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I'll give it a shot, and buy the first book if I like this one.

Based on the review, this sounds like a book that I would love to read. Delving in to the mind of a serial killer, revenge and strong characters makes for a good story in my opinion. I will definitely add this one to my to read shelf. Thanks for the review.

Brutal killings and psychopaths are two things which I really love and both are contained in this book. I sampled few pages and got the full idea about the fiction from your review. So thank you for the descriptive review. Wishing to read this soon

The perspective of a serial killer sounds interesting, but it's definitely not for me. That combined with the gore would be too much for me. For fans of the genre, though, this sounds like a fantastic read.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Thanks for your review as well as the warning about lots of gore. The first 2 chapters still have my mind reeling, so many characters to place AND the opening murder of the 'forked-tongue' reporter. Yet I must admit to being curious and will probably read the rest of this novel, allowing the reader a look into the mind of a serial killer.

Thank you very much for your well-thought-out review. I was immediately attracted to this book because of its title and its cover. I am even more interested in it having read your review. I love the theme of the book.

I LOVE the premise of this book - the main character who is a serial killer seeking to murder the guilty reminds me of the old TV show, Dexter. Glad to hear that I can read this sequel without reading the first book but I probably will read the first one as well. I added this one to my interested in reading shelf. I am sure that readers will sympathize with Craig because of his childhood trauma.

My mind has automatically set to observation and investigation to this book. Its really interesting because of the title itself and I can find out how does every killer or bad people do their job. I will have the idea how to face the situation like the story said.

Indeed it does.

I found this quite intriguing with a serial killer seeking justice for horrifying and traumatizing events that occurred in his childhood. I am normally not into the gore, but this thriller was entertaining and kept me wanting to know more. It will definitely be a fantastic summer read. Nice review!

I read the opening pages of this today, and I wholeheartedly agree with your review that graphic violence reigns in this one. But, then again, it is about a seriel killer. Not my type of book at all but it seems like the author did do a good job with the writing to make for a compelling game of catch me if you can. Great job on this review.
