The last book I read was Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. I would give the book a 4.5 star out of 5. Even though the book was amazing and it caught the readers attention in every page turned the ending felt a bit rushed and made me kind of wonder, why?

I really enjoyed it and rated it 4/4 stars, though there were some homonym errors that almost made it a 3/4. There were less than 4, though, so I felt that it deserved the higher rating. I recommend it, it's a pretty fun adventure (though a little tragic at times). Most of the time I was reading it it felt as if I was indulging in "when I become rich" fantasies.
I also read Superhighway and felt it was too repetitive for me. Alex's hungar and need to eat was redundant to say the least and the descriptions of his "drug" and alcohol use were also too repetitive for me.

Inheritance the last book in eragon inheritance series.
I'll rate it 7/10
It would have been more but I do understand why people compare it with the Lord of the rings

I finally finished The Last Days of Dogtown by Anita Diamant, and would give it 3 of 4 stars. Its charm is in how realistic and episodic it is, but it can feel plotless. But it is a wonderfully researched intimate look at a New England backwater in the early 19th century. I’d recommend it to historical fiction fans who love character-driven novels and slice-of-life in different eras.

Now that you bring that up, you're right. There was a reason for it; after he travels it depletes his energy, but after the first time we understood how hungry he got. The long descriptions of that hunger every time was a bit much. As for the drug use, I didn't feel that it happened too much.

Just in regards to the descriptions of when he would smoke or drink, they were repetative like the eating decriptions were

I've just read The Perseid Collapse Series Boxset by Steven Konkoly. I periodically end up reading post-apocalyptic sagas for weeks on end for some reason. I'd give it a three. It was well researched from a technical point of view and there were a lot of pages dedicated to techni/gun/military stuff which totally went over my head. Sometimes it felt like the author was trying to persuade you exactly how knowledgeable he was about. I would have loved to have seen more of the characters and less tech. That said it was very well written and edited with a strong storyline.

The Last Humans - Dima Zales 7/10

It was a good read, but nothing ground breaking or that will leave a lasting impression on me or the genre. It was useful for transitioning from reading a series I enjoyed to finding something else to read.

I attempted this one. I think I made it half way through before I put it down permanently. The plot was interesting and the idea unique, but I felt the characters were relatively uninteresting and I was not a fan of the whole romance triangle thing. (But I'm a guy so it's pretty low on my list of priorities.)
