I read the sample and noticed the humour, wit...and editing errors, oh well. Good use of language and the tone is right up my alley. Might have to pick this up for a biting read, looks like fun. Thanks for the review, good job :)

Your review makes me curious about the story of the two boys.
Terry seems to be the leader and Bobby just following.
It told me about the life of the boys at their catholic school and how they planned their days through the group Masterminders.
You see, without reading the book and only reading your review, I have understand a part of the book.
But I didn't expect the story to be funny. I have to read the whole book to see the funny side.

This book is really outrageous. It could tickle you in the ribs without moving a muscle. The satire is just riveting and naively laid you would wonder where the punchline is but you had been laughing in your mind. I love it. Thanks for your interesting review.

So this book, is a throw back to the school years, old a golden time. Masterminders" by Tara Basi, had me laughing and enjoying myself from the first chapter. It is interesting to see the life of children through their eyes. And enjoy the imagination that is a wild ride of laughter and giggles. Great surprise.

Every chapter covers a topic that has touches every society. I like how the author has used his characters to bring out the problems of the society in such a creative manner. I will add it to my to-read list. Great review.

This is a book I'd like to read because of the way Bobby was described. His thinking process seems quite above his age. However I am not able to read with Kindle unlimited, hoping I can get it in another format

I was misled by the cover, thinking it would be a mystery or horror book, but that's why we're told not to judge a book by the cover. I'm reading the sample first then hopefully I can purchase the book and read it all through.

Masterminders by Tara Basi...after watching the cover picture of this book I thought maybe it will be a horror story book and the name of this book sound like a sci-fi based book...maybe it will be like some kinds of Harry Potter :P , But I'm sorry to say that I got nothing interesting like horror or science fiction story in this book :snooty: :snooty: ...but it has a one good side that we can come to touch with the present situation of our society, the dark side our society like global warming, women’s troubles, politics, revolution, war e.t.c ... allover I will never say that I love or hate this book totally... I like this book :tiphat:

I’m not sure if I’m going to end up reading this book. Though you mention it being funny, I haven’t really seen anything in your review to show that. Additionally, the religion piece makes me very weary of the book as a whole. Thanks for writing a review!

I've seldom found books like the one you have described in this review. I do enjoy a good comedy and this book seems to have the type of wit and humor that I enjoy most. I especially like the quote you included from the "Politics" chapter. This book seems to have a good balance between humor and serious moments, which is something I look for in comedies as well. I would definitely like to read this book someday. Good job on your review!

I appreciate a not perfect rating for a not perfect book. After reading the sample, I have to disagree with the reviewer about this book being subtle humor. I found it to be childish potty humor. I had a hard time following the reviewers summary of the book.
