I am not a fan of fantasy reads (LOTR and Potter literature are exceptions), but your review makes me want to buy this book and get drunk with it pronto!

Immortals' Requiem is a terrific title. Cu Roi and Grimnir make me miss Harry and Voldemort. Frodo and Gollum, too.

Wow, you really liked the book. A fantasy following a conflict between immortals sounds intriguing. The world building sounds original, and the author does sound like a gifted storyteller. It is to his credit that he didn't throw violence in just for the sake of it. That the book is well edited is another plus. Sounds a bit too graphic for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. I first read the inciteful onlinebookclub review of the book and loved it and after finishing the book, I can honestly rate this as a 4 out of 4 stars fantasy novel. Congrats on being the BOTD.

Thanks for your review. It´s clear you love the book, and I always feel happy when readers deeply enjoy a book.
However, fantasy isn´t for me and this seems kind of "extreme fantasy".

Yes...I´d drop the book as soon as elves, zombies and tentacled canine creatures appeared. I just can´t seem to really immerse in a world that I don´t find believable.
But, I admit the review is awesome, and apparently, the writer is quite gifted so I´ll keep it in mind for fantasy fans or in case I ever change my mind.

I love a good supernatural dark fantasy, throw in immortals and other magical creatures and I can't wait to read it. I love the first sentence of the review, to me that is a glowing recommendation for this book. Congrats on being BOTD

The author seems to have created a fantastic and unique world. Every character is different. I like that the violence is real. It's hard to imagine that they will face such evil and everyone will come out alive.

Thank you for the review. It is very evident that you enjoyed this fantasy and that future readers will too. Though I'm not a fan of zombies, other fantasy creatures are fascinating and this clearly has a vast of them in it. I take note of lot of deaths too, I'm not sure that is something I want to read as I'm currently avoiding depressing or disappointing thoughts. So thank you for all the warnings, recommendation and your overall thoughts of this fantasy book.

The book sounds interesting. I'm a big fantasy book lover but, I'm not really big on a lot of violence and bloodshed in fantasy. Though i am a horror fan as well. I might give the book a try though just to see how violent it really is. Thanks for the review it was very informative.
