Great review! After reading the sample I was not sure that I would like to continue this book. But after reading your review I will give it another chance!

What a great review! I can tell you really are a "fangirl" and you have a way of telling the story to make me one too. Thanks for clarifying what the story is about - the sample got confusing, but you put it together nicely.

Can definitely tell you liked the book. :D I like fantasy and don't mind violence but I do wonder about the descriptions. You said he build all the scenes. I like a little leeway in my scenes for interpretation. Does he allow enough room for the reader to build some of the world on their own or does he create it all?

The book sounds interesting. I am not sure I could read about all the violence. Your review definitely changed my opinion about what the book is about.
Maybe I will change my mind in the future. It sounds like a great story. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for your review! The novel sounds very exciting. I like that the author has both redesigned traditional fantasy creatures and created his own beasts such as the Barghest.

Great review reading which makes it crystal clear that this book is certainly the one definitely worth reading. It is not like the subject is overly original, and you for sure read books like that before, but it's still compelling to read more. Especially if they written this great.

This book reminds me of the old fairy tales like Grimm's or Aesop's Fables. A sort of mix between those olden tales and classic Fantasy world stories like Lord of the Rings or the Epic of Gilgamesh. There are a lot of characters that we lose before the end of the story. Well done.

No doubt this book is a high fantasy novel! I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings series! Mentioning the elves brings back the hype of reading these kind of genre. With zombies and vampires, it will be truly an amazing read.

Sincerely this book is a NO for me because, 1. Its Fantasy. 2. It has 648 long long pages.
If it was non fic or romance or mystery or even horror I wouldn't have mind the pages.
Congratulations BOTD

Although, I felt that the carnage and bloodshed were a crucial part of what made this story authentic. wow fascinating this book is similar to the lord of the rings epic

Based on this amazing review, it seems like this would be a great book for fantasy lovers, but unfortunately that is not me. I also don't like violence and bloodshed, so I am going to pass on this book.
