There is always a pivotal event that happens in a person’s life that may trigger a new passion. This may also change one’s goal in life completely. For Sindy, this was none other than her seeing a girl with the most beautiful doll she had ever seen. This happened while she was in primary school. Before Christmas, one day, they were allowed to bring their favorite toys to school. A girl in her class brought a beautiful doll. Sindy had a desire to have that doll. Furthermore, she wanted to become her in real life. Thus, she is called Sindy in this book.

Sindy in real life: Intimate Confessions of a No-win No-fee Paralegal who became a No-fee No-me Escort was written by Sindy. The book is a work of creative non-fiction reflecting the life of Sindy who remains anonymous. From the start, the book captured my attention. Sindy’s early childhood years were full of challenges. In school, she was always a loner. Her upbringing and the fact that she hated her appearance lowered her self-esteem greatly. This led to Sindy cutting herself severally so as to release the pain in her life. Through a lot of struggle and hard-work, with little parental support, Sindy finally became a Paralegal.

The story is narrated in the first-person point of view. This allows the reader to know what is going on in Sindy’s life while facing every situation in her life. The book depicts her as a person with strong convictions. The dialogues are very realistic. This makes it easy to be part of the story. The book generates mixed feelings as one observes Sindy. This book explores Sindy’s life from all spheres of her life. She is a mother of three children. She has a job and at the same time has her social life. It is amazing to see how she identifies her strengths, builds on them, and becomes a very likable person.

This was a great book to read. It is also easy to read since the language used is simple. Vivid description is used effectively and only when necessary. The book was edited properly. Therefore, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. It is hard to find such a book that is so exciting and full of unexpected twists. It is hard to believe that this is a true story. The story is so lively. It is easier to think of it as a work of fiction. I recommend this book to all who like reading biographies. However, they should be adults since the book has many erotic scenes.

This book will leave the reader with something to think about. For example, on the issue of marriage. Sindy is not into the idea of getting married. Hence, her three children are from different men. The other issue is dysfunctional families and the effects of poor parenting.

I perceive Sindy as a strong lady who fought through self-esteem issues to become a better version of herself. This was quite a nice review, thanks.

It's surprising that Sindy bloomed into a confident woman with such unorthodox beliefs considering her childhood, one would expect her to lean towards conformity. Her story is compelling, l am certain it would hold my interest. Thanks for your excellent review.

Erotic scenes in a true story?! Now I'm curious. Sindy sounds like one who takes the proverbial lemons thrown at her to make lemonade! I like such inspiring people.

Great review!
