Thank you for the excellent review. It's a really well structured motivational guide to engage a kid into reading, combining fun and learning.

A book that fosters kindness and reading at the same time. I agree with you, Tony seems like a great older brother to look up to. Thank you for the review.

Aww~! This book sounds charming. I love that Toni is always helping others and is right where he is supposed to be without being asked. I wish I had a child to read this one to. Great job with the review and I too think the flap would be a great idea to give the kids more interaction.

I too read and reviewed this book, so I'll just quote myself for my comment:

"I like that this book is prime material for bonding between children and their parents. As they read together, parents can discuss the fun activities their children like and perhaps compare the activities they like to the ones Toni likes. Parents can additionally take the opportunity to discuss chores around the house and how the child can do them with a smile like Toni does."

I also like YOUR suggestion on how the book can be made more interactive; I liked looking under flaps of books when I was little, as did my children, so that was a great idea!

This is a good review of Toni The Superhero by RD Base. I like how you described the pictures in the book - it added to the overall review. I tend to disagree with your idea of the word "rescue'. Children that age know more than we think. Also, a book should not only be entertaining, but also a learning tool. If the child doesn't know what it means, this would be a great interactive tool - the explanation of the word. Thanks for the review!

I loved this book too. The cat rescue also looked at bit odd as the cat didn’t seem to need rescuing.

It is difficult to review children picture books in a minimum of 400 words because there is not much text in them, but you have done an awesome job in this review. You captured every aspect of this book so succinctly- from the cover to the very last page! I liked your suggestion to the author. great review. I learned a lot from reading it. Well done!

Great job. I had been considering this book myself as I have a soon to be 6 year old who still struggles with some of her special sounds and a 3 year old who will soon be learning to read. It is good to know that the books wording is kept on a level he will understand as he moves on from looking at the pictures to reading the words.

Thankyou.

The book is a very nice story for kids. As the reviewer mentions, Tony is a good boy that teaches nice manners and doing the right thing. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed the story.

This book can be an inspiration to young kids by providing a positive attitude towards reading, eating healthy food helps a child in many aspects. I would recommend this book to other parents to read.

I read this to my 2 daughter's ages 2 and 4, they both payed attention and my 4 yr old said she liked it. Like the author stated it is a very simple book for teaching how to begin to read. It was a cute book with the combination of a super hero and showing how he helps out and what he likes to do. I can honestly say that this book can help to learn the words as the pictures clearly show what it going on.
