I love historical fictions that also have time jumps. I do not know a ton about France during those time periods so this book sounds really interesting to me!

Even though I dont care for this type of book, I felt that you gave an awesome review. Historical fiction is not for me. They way you describe what yu read, the storyline, and your praise towards the author was great. Overall, a great review for what appears to be a great book.

Ancient France would be a thrilling destination. I definitely want to add to my Les Miserables knowledge. The glowing review does not fail to impress me. Merci, Katiesquilts!

While historical fiction isn't my favorite genre, your interesting review has piqued my interest. The mystery of the heirllooms sparks another layer of interest. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like a fascinating historical fiction novel! It has literature references, well-researched and intrigue! I will also keep an eye out for the sequel since this book has a cliffhanger! Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

When I reached the cliffhanger at the end of the book, I almost screamed out of frustration. I am highly looking forward to the next installation in the series, to see where the heirlooms will find themselves next, and whether the student being blackmailed will be able to out-trick his blackmailer as he gets closer to finding the mysterious heirlooms. I would highly recommend this book to historical fiction fans, especially those who enjoyed Les Misérables, who are looking for an intelligent and complicated but satisfying story. Once you start reading, I doubt you'll be able to put it down.
I'm not a particular fan of historical fiction, and I definitely don't like books that keep me hanging. Going to have to pass on this one!

Seriously I'm not a fan of historic events.I'm more of a modern event lover., something I can relate wit. From what I see of the review, I can say a lot of research was done and that to me is dedication and sacrifice. Kudos to the writer

I've been wanting to read more historical fiction and this review has definitely piqued my interest. I don't know much about French history either but it's good that the author takes that into account with their writing.

The Crimson Heirlooms by Hunter Dennis is a historical fiction about the millionaire who is searching for two heirlooms: a necklace, the Cross of Nantes, and the lyrics to a song "the devil sang as he danced across the blood-drenched hills of the Vendée Militaire." I don't wanna feel frustrated with the cliffhanger ending so I'd bypass reading this book. Thanks for the detailed review.
