I can only say "ditto" to Godfrey! You had me at Exhibit 1. I love Agatha Christie, Poirot, and Miss Marple. Does Irene ever get to sleep here?Helen_Combe wrote: ↑13 May 2018, 08:36Gosh! Thank you, I hope you enjoy it.gali wrote: ↑17 Jul 2018, 06:09 A lock room mystery that takes place in an isolated manor sounds great! You got me by mentioning the resemblance to Agatha Christie. She is one of my favorite authors! I also love lock room mysteries, and the book sounds intriguing. That it is well researched and well edited is another plus. I will add it to my reading list. Thank you for the review!

I really like Agatha Christie and although, I suck at solving mysteries I have so much fun with this books.
The characters sound quirky and interesting and the plot engaging but not too dark. Plus, I love learning new words.
Thanks for a great review!

Gosh, thank you very muchsamiam013 wrote: ↑17 Jul 2018, 06:24 Okay, WOW, that has to be the BEST most entertaining review I have ever read. The way you incorporated exhibits, a closing statement, verdict, and then to top it off "The defense rests". I will meet you in the library to acquire and read a copy of this book. Thank you so very much for such an amazing review!!

Thank you very much, I do hope you enjoy the bookAryastark wrote: ↑17 Jul 2018, 06:50 Enthralled by your review.. Thanks for making this so interesting! Now, about the book.. Well I am a fan of Agatha Christie and this kind of whodunnit stories since childhood, so it is kind of a given that I am going to read it. But the other 'exhibits' appeal to me as well, for example, the character of Malory himself, his relation with his sidekick, and the possibility of solving a previously unsolved case. It can not get any better, I guess!
