First of all, I'll begin by commending you on this well laid out review. You indeed depicted the book.

'Goodnight Irene' already seems like I book I would so love. So much drama, little narratives (I hope) and lots of blood pumping actions. The fact that it is suspense filled is also another thing I look out for.

Without doubt, I am going for this book. Thank you!!!

The name of Irene was not mentioned in the official review and that makes the story intriguing for me.the genre interests me because it is something that i can relate in to,something that i can learn from because of my profession, this maybe a fiction thing but i trust the author enough that he is able to give justice to the theme of the story.this is thrilling to those who are fanatics of mysterious events,it feels like you are in it.exciting.

This does seem like an interesting crime novel. I love the way that you broke up the review into the points of exhibition. I think it goes well with the theme of the book and was a great way to support your rating.

An interesting review to what sounds like an interesting especially for those readers who love classic detective and crime stories. The review made me think that reading this book may be a bit like playing the game, "Cluedo!"
An excellent review.

I like early 20th century murder mysteries. There's a different feel to this time era, and the author appeared to capture this era through the dialogue and descriptions. The Cubs in 1927 are similar to the Cubs of 2018.

Helen, I love the creative presentation of your review! I am an Agatha Christie fan, so I’m interested to see how this one compares. I’ll have to prepare myself for some mental gymnastics!

Very entertaining review that fits the theme of the book so well! I do not typically like who dunnit type of books, but you make this one sound very interesting. Sounds like a fun and entertaining read though it sounds like someone may need an extensive vocabulary to truly enjoy the story.
