I appreciate the review of this book. It was as fun to read as was the portion of the book I read. I liked what I read of the book and, like the reviewer, I found a few words I didn't know and that, to me, makes the book a fun read. I liked the relationship between the detectives and the banter between them. They seemed to make a really good team. I would like to finish it one day and will put it on my bookshelves as a 'want to read'. Thanks for the original way in which it was reviewed.

I like books like this in which the clues are there for the reader to follow and think about! It's good to know about the light relief too. I wonder if Manory corrects who/whom incorrectly? Thanks for a scintillating review.

I think I'll like this book since it's a crime thriller. The review was really helpful.

:techie-studyinggray: :techie-studyingbrown: The prologue of this book made me curious. Death, murder and mystery are found on these pages. The plot was very interesting. I would recommend this fiction title to readers everywhere.

What a fantastic excellent review. I sampled some of the book and a few other reviews and wasn't sure I wanted to read the book. The genre is not something I look for, but your review changed my mind. A book that keeps my attention and adds to my word base deserves a shelf position. Thank you for the wonderful review.

Ohhh. What a compelling review! I read the first few pages, but without this review, I wouldn’t have gathered what was to come in this novel. I love a good mystery, and I love being on the edge of my seat. I’m adding this one to my list for sure!

Very good review. Clever and entertaining, possibly more so than the book. The end of Chapter one in the book really did not manage to hook me. I felt I could easily walk away after that and not feel like I'm missing out on anything. But, the review made me want to read more of the book. Good job.

Learning new vocab through reading is such a wonderful thing. This book sounds like an exciting mystery. It reminds me of the old 'Guess Who' game.

This review is a result of hardwork, and time investment. Without reading the book itself, one would already understand what the book is about. Well done.

I love Agatha Christie. This one has a little more violence in it then hers, but I still think I will enjoy it. Thanks for your awesome review.

The book is undoubtedly interesting and makes it impossible for its readers not to be entirely immersed in it like you were! Thanks for the review, you really must have enjoyed the book judging from the review. Crime and justice are my favorite genres, and this book is on my to read list.
