A good mystery book that I will enjoy. I'm curious about the case that Manory is selected to investigate whether he can solve it or will be like his mother, being haunted for life for her investigation.

I have this general rule that I won't look at a book until there are 50 Amazon reviews and the average is around a 4.4, with less than 20% total either a 3 or below. In this case, however, the review is so compelling that I picked up the book and will have to sit down and read it. I like mysteries and thrillers and this very thorough review has convinced me to take a look. Thanks.

I don’t think I’ve read a book in this genre since I’m all about fantasy books, but your review is so good it makes want to start reading one! Good job!

Sounds like a fun book. I may have to check it out even though I’m not usually a mystery fan.

Interesting review: You have detailed the book so much for the expectation of other readers. I have read almost all of Agatha Christie novels, and if what you said about "Goodnight Irene" murder drama is appalling I would definitely read this book. I have read the prologue and pages of Chapter 1 and it invites me to continue reading the book, because I think I have become awed by who done it, and is curious to know who did. I am going to read the entire book. Thank you

I really like that the detective and his sidekick have such a brotherly banter going on. In many books, the main characters and the sidekick have a somewhat cold relationship.

I loved the review. I am not much for reading murder mystery. But this sounds like a very interesting read where the reader knows the clues and can try to figure it out. I kept thinking of the game of clue.

I absolutely loved reading your review, and I’m so excited to add this book to my reading list! Agatha Christie is one of my favorite novelists, so finding anything reminiscent of her is quite exciting!

I love this review. I usually do not read mysteries but this review has me excited to read this book. I love that it was presented as a "case".

If the book is this well written then you can count me a fan.

I liked your clever format for the review. I have a fondness for Hercule Poirot stories, so I appreciated the analogy. I will definitely be reading this one. Thanks for the review and also to the author for the book.
