I appreciate the reviewer stating that a full 4 out of 4 rating wasn’t entirely appropriate, but they felt a a 3 out of 4 was an injustice. Also I enjoyed the reviewers unique formatting choice.

One of the very best book reviews I've read in a long time...other reviewers on this web site should take note of what a book review is supposed to be versus the endless and disconnected diatribe that is left behind pretending to be one. Analysis of the plot and characters is concise, effective and imaginable. The reviewer has done an excellent job!!

I love how you formatted this review. It's so creative and entertaining, I can only hope that the actual book holds up! I like a good whodunit book, so I might just give this one a try. It's a shame about that little historical inaccuracy, but it's easy enough to ignore. Thank you for the great review!

I liked this unique and appealing review. Goodnight Irene sounds an exciting book to read. Detective stories are the most intriguing and, the reviewer has asserted it too. I would surely like to have a copy of this novel on my shelf. The steps involved to reveal a mystery often thrill the readers, as there will be a lot of suspense in the plot. Thanks for this lovely novel!

When any read holds my breath for longer than a breath, I find it intriguing.

The fact that I read this review with bated breath tells me that the original read would be superb. And do I love crime and detective stories - the Sherlock Holmes style.
I hope that the 'all too evident' clues do not spoil my read.

Nicely crafted review!

The verdict: wonderful review! I am a big fan of murser mysteries, so I am dying to read and find out how Rowan and his assistant will solve the puzzle of not only the present, but also the past murders.

Omg. I am so excited with this one. Really? As the review says a who "dunnit" crime mystery, Agatha Christie's style? And got it for free? It's Christmas in July for me. Thanks and congrats.

I love how you wrote this review! So creative. I love Agatha Christie and I love locked room mysteries so it seems assured I will also enjoy this book. Glad to hear the historical details are strong and there are not many errors. Thanks for your insight and, again, for the fun review!

Reading about crime has never been my passion but the way the story is told just ignites my urge to read it even more. The crime of rape committed and gathering clues by detectives was a nice piece to read about.
