I got the impression that Toni was an actual superhero, but was relatable because he still helped out around the house and was involved in other regular child activities.

Yes, he doesn't do extraordinary. However for children this character would be very interesting and they would like to follow it.

:lol2: I laughed way too hard at this! But I also agree. Toni is not your typical Marvel or DC superhero.

I really appreciate this take on it. This could be a great way to show kids that they all could have a superhero inside them. By following the example Toni sets, kids can feel like or be superheros, too!

And even if Toni is actually a superhero, it still sets an example for kids. Superheros are also kids themselves and have the same responsibilities! Superhero or not, Toni can be a great example.

The mention of superhero make readers to expect a supernatural character with supernatural qualities. I think Toni is a model character. I don't think he must possess some powers to be seen a superhero.

True. Even if he did have supernatural abilities, what's more important is that the author emphasizes his deeds than his powers for him to be seen as a model character especially for the children.

It doesn't matter if Toni has superpowers or not. It's his actions that makes him a superhero. Think about the superheros who don't have superpowers, such as Batman and Ironman, who actually only have money and the idea of what they want to do. Technically Hulk too as Bruce Banner only created the injection to create the Hulk. It's as if Toni is the child-version of these adult superheros.

DorcasToo wrote: 01 Jul 2018, 23:53 The fact that he's a good kid helping out with chores makes him a superhero. The costume just emphasizes an effect desired by the author.
You are right Toni has all the good habits which the parents can wish to be found in their children. Moreover, his superhero dress gives him an inspiring outlook.

He isn't really a super hero in real life but by being a good kid, doing his work makes him a hero to his family
