Sounds like such a cute book and series for children in the kindergarten and early elementary age. I love stories for kids that incorporate places they may have never heard of.

I was wondering what age group this series would be for, and I think your assessment is correct. The story seems to young for those who can read, but it seems too difficult for those who want to read on their own. It would be a story then for adults to read to children. Thanks for your insight on this one. It seems to be nicely put together.

This seems like a really fun book that my daughter may enjoy reading. I like that the detective agency is made up of animals. My daughter is going to love reading about these animal adventures.

Thank you for your review. This sounds like a great book for children. I know I would have bought this book for my son when he was younger.

Nice review! I actually listened to this book on audio, and It was so well-done! The narration was absolutely amazing! I'd highly recommend it. I downloaded the Kindle version today (thank you!). Hearing there are pictures makes me love this book even more. I found it to be engaging, entertaining, age-appropriate, and educational. I'm so excited to see this is the BOTD! Thanks!

I'd really like to read this one to my little brother but hesitated when I saw it was a book number 7. I was relieved to found out I can read this apart from the other books. I'm also glad to know that other animals will feature in this book and I'm my brother would love a cat detective!

I enjoyed the detailed review. I found the book itself to be a lovely story about Inca, the cat, and her friends. I thought the illustrations were adorable and the fitted nicely with the surrounding text. As this is part of a series I am sure it will appeal to children who enjoy reading about their favorite characters. I felt it was a nice blend of adventure where the Cats and company were solving the case of the missing sword and coins, and fun where they went on various sightseeing trips and got to learn a little bit about local customs.

Thank you for the review. I find it interesting to read and this one is a good adventure book along with its mystery solving story. It gives us some glimpse of a place we've never been to. I love children books because it sparks curiosity and it enables us to explore something new in someone's heart and mind, and most of all, it's enjoyable.

Another book to love because it make me read this for my kid. A cat who’s in adventure and exploring to find clues makes it more interesting.

I think it's great that this book can teach the (especially young) readers about Sri Lanka and the places to visit. After reading your review, I think that the visuals and the story itself can be very interesting for children and even for older readers to enjoy.

I like the book illustrations on how the animal works together. It can be helpful to young children. Also, the friendship exhibited by the animal carries morals which can be applied to benefit a child. Especially the friendship of cat and dogs.
Congratulations.

The first-person point-of-view and the diary form of this book are quite enchanting for children. I agree with you that younger children will enjoy the book more than older ones. I also wish the author had included more cultural elements concerning the island of Sri Lanka. Thanks for a detailed review!

Serendipity Mystery by R.F Kristi is really a mystery novel as it revolves around some mysterious and Kitty characters and these funny characters are on their vacation in Sri Lanka.

The main character of the novel is Inca a cat detective and her brother Fromage and Cara her sister, together with their mom they have escaped the cold weather of London and enjoying their holidays on a beach cottage on the sunny island of Srilanka.

The author of this novel R.F Kristi has given a good chance to Inca the cat detective to give her perspective and the narrative style of Inca is beautiful and funny.
