It would be pretty awesome to see a real life Chrome Wind! As for CGI, it's hit and miss with me. Sometimes I watch movies and think it's incredible that they could make something so obviously fake look so real, and then other times I think it looks like garbage. I guess it really depends on who is doing the CGI work.Bianka Walter wrote: ↑05 Aug 2018, 02:42With CGI these days, they can make a T-Rex eat the Chrome Wind with a volcano erupting in the background and make it look real. But how great would it be to actually have them build it in real life to film in the movie?JHuschle519 wrote: ↑04 Aug 2018, 23:41I was originally going to say that the craft Agent Sliver uses might be the only out of place thing, but after reading your comment I have to agree that it's not that unrealistic to picture that kind of craft in another 40 years. As for a lot of the other technology, we are very close to having a lot of that stuff now, so I don't think there would be any issue making it look realistic in a movie format.Bookmermaid wrote: ↑02 Aug 2018, 10:21
I certainly think it will make a great movie. The spacecraft abilities are in no way farfetched as already there is technology for small craft to land vertically. This was featured last week in BBC tech section.

And just abut everything is made into a movie. I am having trouble finding movies that are not based on books. Some books are starting to seem to me like the authors are writing with the intent of a movie adaptation in the future. I see this as one of those types of books.abigailray1013 wrote: ↑02 Aug 2018, 09:11 At this point, anything could be made into a good movie. While it sounds like there could be many movies out there very similar, I think it would be a thrilling and action-packed film!

This was my view too. I am in support of this. The movie will be better than the book itself, probably.SamSim wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 06:16 Mind you, I've only sampled the book but, from that, I suspect it may make an even better movie. When I was reading it, my imaginings certainly reminded me of a sci-fi action film. I can't say that about all books (mostly because they're often not descriptive enough).
