I love that this book is set in the Philippines! I very rarely come across books that's set in the country I'm from. This isn't exactly my cup of tea though so even if it has exciting adventure and well written characters, I don't think I'll read this. Thanks for the review! =)

Not a big fan of war novels. I also dont like that the dialogue is distracting. I won't be giving this a read, but the store sounds extremely interesting. Thanks for the review.

Reading your review I don't feel this book will be enjoyable to me,since one easily predict s what's going to happen next.you have also mentioned that the climax comes too early.that makes the rest of the book boring.

I read the sample, and I was 100% hooked up so I get what you mean. I love detective crime reads filled with action and adventure. This is certainly a book for me, and I want to have it. Your review justified my opinion about this book, and Thank you for your descriptive review!

Warramunga, aftermath of the war, I enjoy reading it especially the first part that was based on war...
The plot of the play is war... I love it and so interesting. Moreover the title of the book should have been ' The survival'. This shows the two main characters ( captain James and jacko ) being the survival of the war. I also love the skill and the setting of the play. I hope the Australia will be glad too coz it relate it with ancient time ...but the author should deal more with the dialogue of the play generally ... And also he should have make it two story with different title coz the first part of the play talk about war and the latter is crime .. But I still recommend the story 4 out of 4, coz if u love war story or into criminology then u find it interesting

I am from the Philippines, and with it as one of the settings, I am curious to read the whole book. Child trafficking became rampant in random areas in the Philippines, too. I wonder if the abducted children were all Filipinos or not, and what happened thereafter. Thanks for the great review.

Anything about World War 2 is always interesting. This is a story that deals with the situation of Australia after the war. I would like to learn more about the story. I will definitely read it.

The traditional mystery that morphs into an adventure story sounds different and really cool. Thanks for your review!

Jacko and Jamie's skills and intelligence make the book very interesting. I like the child trafficking theme of the story as well. Great review.

Thanks for the thorough review, but I'm no more interested in a book involving human trafficking than I was interested in book one's emphasis on war. The dialogue issues you mention don't help, either.
