Need Some Advise?
I'm new to the whole writing thing? What would be the best way to crack into it? Something to get my teeth into? A fan fic? A story? Diving into the minds of a character from a soap? Writing thoughts? Any information or shared experiences would be helpful?
Anything at all? Would appreciate taking a look. And maybe jotting down some advice?
Hope to hear from you!

If you don't know what to write, try searching with the keyword "Writing Prompts".

Dreams can sometimes lead to amazing stories, I learned this a long time ago. Keep a pad by your bed and every time you have a dream that you don't want to forget just quickly jot down a main plot and key words.
This is actually how Spielberg and Cameron have created alot of their screenplays and ideas.
Brainstorm! Let the flow of words and ideas come out. Don't worry about punctuation or anything just the words, the text, your creation.
Later, come back and revisit...if its a story...do an outline. A story has exposition, the heart and depth, subplots, falling action, a climax and a resolution.
Go back later and fix your punctuation and format when the creative part is at a standstill.
A rough draft is just that...rough.

I think I know what you mean, but could you possibly define these terms in reference to writing?Morpheus wrote:In writing, there is force and there is flow. You have to understand the difference between these before you can refine your talents with the pen.
