This sounds like a new take from one woman on spirituality and our lives here on earth. However, I find that most books about a New Age kind of spirituality seem to either repeat the same tenants or border on slightly ridiculous. With my personal tastes this doesn't sound like a book for me.

As someone who is not into new age ideology, I do not think this is the book for me. Thanks for a good review.

I do not believe in things like being able to "wish" for better weather and having it actually happen. To me, those things are called coincidences. However, I admire the author's drive to be Christ-like. I like her view that everything should be appreciated because we learn and grow from the hardships in our lives. This is a great attitude to have. Not all of her believes seem to align with my Christian ones though, and I'm really not much into spiritual healing.

I like the sentiments of the author when she talks about gratitude, that we should not only be grateful for good health, good experience in life but even in difficult times we should be thankful because in difficult times that's when our weaknesses are strengthened. That was really inspiring

The whole "inner light" thing has always been annoying to me. Not because of what it is, but how people act about it. For that reason, this book does not sound like it would be for me.

Preemptive speeches may amount to unnecessary. It's a nice and interesting story, full of ideology... The author did a great job in putting this book into writing but this is a good type of book as its good to stay aloft of what seems ambiguous for one.

Calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence, so that's very important for good health. Health, happiness, and spirituality is the core of a person's life. This is a good book with good thoughts of life because it's motivating and inspiring to read. Thanks for this review

Thanks for the elaborate review. This book appears like a true story of a woman who experienced her inner light and spiritual strength. I am always ready to read a book like this. The author, through her special insight on the conscious light within each individual, informs others to use their own light to solve the difficulties of life. Living in the Space of Light is mostly based on Christian spiritual beliefs. This novel is useful for everyone, as it guides to recognize the inner strength of each person and to lead a contented life.

Thank you for providing a great review of this book. I really like how you explain the author's foundation of five aspects for a happier life, and you explain how these aspects are similar to ones that appear throughout ancient and modern-day spiritual teachings. I've heard of the concept that we create our own realities including the negative aspects, but I've never really been interested in such topics until your review. I think I might give this book a read.

Thanks for this book review. With this book, I definitely need to have an open mind. I find the author's supernatural abilities and her beliefs confusing and that doesn't make me too eager to give this book a chance.

I find alternative healing to be an interesting topic, but not sure I can read a full book about it. I'm also a little wary about the second to last paragraph in your review, not just because of the inconsistencies you pointed out, but also because the author's message sounds a bit over-the-top for me. But I'm glad overall you enjoyed the book!

I was interested in reading the book after seeing the title, "Living in the Space of Light". The title reminded me of walking in faith, in the light of God's word. Then, after I read a sample and the review, I could discern that this is not a book about walking in the truth of God's word. It is a book that has new age views, that goes against the teachings of the bible. I don't like the new age christ consciousness teachings, as that you create everything in your life whether good or bad.
"Caarna also teaches that we are the absolute creators of everything in our lives, the good and the bad."
This mindset bothers me because I didn't create the abuse from my abusers in my life. I do not take responsibility for others actions, only my own. We live in a fallen sinful world and the depravity of man creates their own personal sin against the creator Jesus Christ. I do not agree we are the creators of everything in our lives, the good and the bad. I believe God is the only goodness in this world and without Jesus we are nothing. The only bad I create is that of my own fleshly sin nature. I didn't create the bad others have done against me. The Bible tells us to discern and try every spirit whether it be of God.
