Whats the funniest song you have ever heard?

Post by Bighuey »

One of the funniest songs I ever heard, is Midnight Choir by Larry Gatlin. Its about a bunch of winos on skid row. One line goes, "If there aint Mogen David in Heaven who the hell wants to go?" Another one I liked since I was a kid was Clancy Lowered the Boom by Dennis Day. "Clancy was a peaceful man if you know what I mean, the cops picked up the peices after Clancy left the scene." and so on.
"I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I dont know what to feed it." Ramblings of a retired senile mind.

I remember from the 90's song by Mr. Oizo 'Flat beat'.
That's not funny, but stupid as well, so if you want to feel the same - you should listen to it. :)

A friend of mine does a version of 'Ramona' which I find hilarious ....... especially in the pub after some lubrication! In his version the singer has great difficulty pronouncing his R's & poor old Ramona gets turned into Wamona. Hilarious but I guess you just have to be there ...

Tom Leher did some great stuff. Ive got some of his stuff on CD's. Some of those songs go way back. Walla Walla and Barney Google are from about 1922 or 23. In Walla Walla they make their instruments sound like farm animals, I crack up every time I hear it. I used to collect that old crazy music.

The funniest song I've heard/seen recently is the music video of Rammstein's "Mein Land."
"The world is a vampire/sent to drain/secret destroyers hold you up to the flames/And what do I get for my pains?/Betrayed desires, and a piece of the game."

"What's Up Judge Judy's Ass?"--Mojo Nixon. And pretty much anything Shinky wrote before he got married. Hell, pretty much anything anybody wrote before they got married.
edited to add...no Bo Carter??
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.
