Your review makes it seem similar to The Sword Swallower and a Chico Kid, with the drug and alcohol abuse. I really enjoyed that book. I am interested in reading this one because mental illness is rarely addressed appropriately (it is often romanticized or ridiculed). However, I sometimes have issues overlooking grammatical errors. I will think about this book before I commit to it.

Thanks for the review!

People who have had additions or know some one that has had issues with addictions will be able to connect with this book. it is good the the characters are developed well, it will make it easier for reader to get involved with the story. It is possible that i read would this book.

This book strikes a chord as drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental illness are impacting many people today. It would be interesting to see how these issues are dealt with in a small town where everyone knows one another.

Good Job on the review, It sounds like it is a good book to read. I thank you for letting us all know that the main part of the story is in the second summer and that the grammatical errors are bit of a challenge.

It is good to note that the storyline is worthwhile and engaging. This is what will certainly attract many readers to read this book. I would have been put off by the errors but I guess I will be reading it due to the intriguing storyline. Thanks for the review.

The grammatical and formatting errors definitely give me pause, but I’m always on the look out for books that portray mental illness accurately and don’t use it as a plot device to demonize people. Your review certainly leaves me curious about their journey!

The themes of drug addiction and mental illness make me want to read the story. These are serious tragedies when they befall a family.

This is quite a story of family reunion and bonding during summer. Well, this is a heartwarming story that many wanderers could relate to after coming home. The heartfelt ambiance of homelife will pervade the atmosphere of the story. Thanks for the interesting review.

Though I don't enjoy fictions with no element of mystery in it, there always have to be some exceptions. Small town life, relationships issues, drugs and mental illness- all this is enticing for me. Mixed emotions always pique my interest. I am certain of grabbing this book. Great review!!!

Despite the editing/grammatical shortfalls, Two Sheldon Iowa Summers makes for a great read. The story of Les and his girlfriend Lorraine covers quite some heavy topics such as Mental illness, drugs, alcohol, and death. Some editing should make the book attractive to readers.
