The title would definitely have to change. And, people absolutely will think it's related to Davinci Code. It's a really tragic trilogy of films, and its not like the books were great to begin with, and you wouldn't want to be tarnished with the same brush.
Yeah, they're nothing to do with each other but, the general public, i reckon, would just naturally assume it's going to be basically the same thing but with a girl.
