This might be a good movie, but the physical descriptions don't give much direction. I agree with CatlynnHighlight that translating the book to the screen would be difficult unless there are screenwriters and director who can imagine better the physical surroundings than the author gives us. The political elements are certainly topical.
This is a nice addition too. It is true that the process of making this book a movie will be one that requires qualified screenwriters and directors for it to be successful.

I would be glad to watch a Science Fiction movie adapted from this book. It would be nice to see a visual representation of its ideas.

This book could easily be made into a movie. After Mission Possible and Jason Bourne, the ideas expressed in this novel would be easy to put on the big screen. The talking ship, the girl, the cyborg, etc., are all interesting elements that maintain the interest. This would be a good movie that could be expanded into a series.

Oooooh I like the idea of a series. I think it might work out better than a movie. It would give it more time to build the world and the characters.

This is a great book but it is so far into the future it is hard to imagine. Tom Cruise did a movie like this and I remember as I watched it I felt so depressed at seeing the artificial scenes that I couldn't imagine feeling good about that type of life even if I was able to live that long. The surroundings seem very drab and dull. I guess Steven Spielberg wouldn't hesitate to step up to the challenge.

I think it would definitely make a fantastic movie. The characters and plot are phenomenal to read about.

It is true that this book will make a good and captivating movie. It may require a lot of work on the graphics but it I guess that the movie will attract many viewers.

On the contrary, i think it should be a movie over a book. movies tend to focus more on the world around the characters, while books focus on the characters themselves. i think that would enhance this book.

it can make a good movie, seeing that the plot itself is a movie

it can be made a good movie but some editing should be made on the book when making it a movie. but yes what a great movie the book would become if every page is taken step by step

An action packed movie with AI as its central theme will surely be a great treat to most of the youngsters out there. Movies with dystopian setting have all done quite well. Taking its unique storyline into account, it is definite to lure many viewers.
