What irks you?

Post by Bighuey »

Heres one I got from another website. What is it that ticks you off, or irks you? heres mine.

People who borrow stuff and never bring it back.
When my dog throws up on the bed.
Liars.
Potholes in the road.
When my dog piddles on the bed.
The 2 to 3 hour wait at the border in Ti Juana when I go to the US.
Looking for something you know that youve got and cant find it, and go buy another one and after you get home you find it.
When my dog craps on the bed.
When the internet disconnects when Im finishing a long letter or message.

Pencils that aren't as dark as a no.2 should be.
Erasers that are cheap and smear the page.
Pages in a book that has been printed off center.

People who think that being in a job longer than someone else gives them the right to dish out orders or that they should have more rights than junior staff. See it all the time at work. people there a long time want all the easy jobs, any overtime going etc. Really annoys me.

People who dont even wave to say thanks if you move to the side on the road to leave them pass.

People who stand too close to you in queues.

Reality tv.

Rudeness.

Checkout staff chewing gum
People constantly taking calls on their mobile after inviting you to lunch
Drivers who won't turn on their lights on dark or foggy mornings
Laptop acting stubborn & uncooperative
We fade away, but vivid in our eyes
A world is born again that never dies.

Ignorant drivers (with you on that one S.K)
Rich people who look down at you (Michael Winner for eg)
Tailgating
People who join in demonstrations out of boredom and dont know what the demo is for.
Scroungers
Garlic (it just blocks out any other flavours in the food)
Marmite

People who don't indicate at roundabouts.
Elderly people wearing hats and driving at about 25km an hour.
People who speed up when you try to overtake them in overtaking lanes.
People who get road rage over the simplest things.

Wow, everything that irks me has to do with driving. :)

Also people who try to talk down to other people on these forums and attack them for their likes or the most inane reasons. We have a couple of them here. :(

Based on peoples replies, the world would be less irksome on horseback. Mine included.

Emails which are spam in disguise:
Emails containing misleading information by pretending to be fact without citing references.
Emails bristling with attachments which have doctored photographs "as proof".
Emails that are meant to be undying friendship but are sent en masse with the tag "Send to 10 other people..."
Emails which tell me I will "get/win/receive" a "windfall/money/surprise" if I forward immediately.
Emails which are filled with rubbish to incite emotions, anger, horrify, shock or just plain annoy.
Emails filled with racist, sexist, bigoted, one-eyed personal grandstanding or political views by persons unknown.
Emails with stupid jokes that have been circulating the globe for years.
Emails full of revamped, ridiculous urban legends.
Emails.....

.....irksome but I just keep hitting that good old Delete key.....
