Thank you for sharing your insights of this book. Seeing how Gloria finds love again after her husband dies is very inspiring.

This leads to the macho guy and the guy running for presidency, I wonder whom did she chose. I don't like macho guys for their attitude, and I don't like guys running for presidency, too much attention. So none of them are for me but I wonder why is Gloria finding it difficult to make a choice?
Gloria is feisty! That is her problem.

Thanks for your awesome comment! Made me laugh.

The reader does learn about the culture, politics, and even gender roles in Haiti, which was interesting.

That got on my nerves!

Thanks for stopping by!

Great review. That's interesting that the author did a lot of research on Haiti. I'm not sure if I would enjoy reading a book where there are numerous errors

I no longer read romance novels - and this won't be an exception - but it's nice that this one is about people during their senior years, as even the oldest of us still need love.

Boy, am I jealous? Juggling three men in that scary phase of a single woman's life? Gloria herself must be something. I wonder if there was ever a confrontation between the trio, that'd be fun to read. It's real good that proof exists on the timelessness of love. Great review!

Great review. Nice to see a romance in later years book. I usually find that I can relate to characters of any age. Probably because through I’m 51, I still feel like I’m 17, and will probably continue to do so into my dotage
