I have rarely seen a 1 out of 4 stars review since joining the club, so I just had to read what such a review would be like. I have not read the book so I can not say whether it is a fair rating. It would be interesting to know what was the target age group for the book.

I enjoy reading chuldren's literature too. The storyline of this book is interesting but too bad for the errors. I will only add this to my tbr list after rounds of editing on this book.

I've recently read a few other 1 out of 4 ratings. I think it's hard for any reviewer, myself included, to give the lowest rating. However, the guidelines stress honesty. Regardless of the targeted age group, the book has too many errors.

Oh dear. A word misspelt over twenty times in a short children's book? I do hope the author can remedy these errors and get better illustrations for the book. Thanks for your warning. I will stay away! Cheers!

What a shame! I love the idea of a book about sibling bugs... there should be more children's stories about the importance of sibling friendship. But this one sounds like it just hasn't even tried (22 times!).

Excellent review Cecilia. I agree, children's books are always a pleasure to read. I'm sorry this book didn't work for you. I don't understand why some authors use unusual formatting in their book. Text over photos? Bold print? They serve no purpose in my opinion.

This sounds like a cute book, but it really is a shame that there are so many errors in it. I would have to skip based on so many errors. Hopefully in the future the author will get books professionally edited.

I agree with you completely. Grammar, formatting, punctuation - all these need to be more important in a children's book. It doesn't sound like something I would recommend, so I'm going to avoid this one. Thanks for persevering, though.

A real shame that there were so many errors! I don't think I could manage to get through a book with so many mistakes. What's a real bummer is that children are meant to read this book. It's not good for their English development to read a book with errors like that. We learn so much about our language from the books we read. This could confuse children on spelling and grammar usage.
