Perhaps, I'll enjoy reading this book as I enjoyed watching those superheroes on screen.

Thanks for the great review. (wink)
My pleasure (wide grin)
As a fellow superhero fan, I'd love to see how you see the story.
Thanks for stopping by!

Great review!

Hahaha, sometimes, things are not what they appear... I'm glad you're willing to still check out the book even though you'll skip some pages... A small price to pay in my opinion... Thanks for reading!
You are most welcome!

Great review, it sounds like a remake of X-Men, but as the story is good and the characters believable, that’s not a problem.

As a matter of fact, I DO " love Avengers, X-men, Justice League and the like", but I do NOT like sequels, even if they are "standalone" - that's just my thing - so I'll backtrack and read book one first. Thanks so much for the introduction!

:lol2: I know right? I'd love to see how it all started even though I know the end... Which is relative because there just might be a follow-up to this one (I hope)

Thank you for your detailed review! I do like Avengers and X-men so I think I'm going to enjoy this book  I'm going to read the first book first though so that I can get more of a feel for the world in the book.

This really sounds like a cross between X-Men and Watchmen. Powers and violence are predominately used in both series.

I am a big fan of the superhero genre especially Marvel's MCU. I think I will enjoy this read, it contains all the usual ingredients that make for a fun read.
I am intrigued with the simple yet rich style mentioned, it's usually not easy to pull off.
Great review by the way.
