I really enjoy novels based on true stories, even though this one seems like a sad one that will leave me with unpleasant emotions. Thanks for your insightful review.

I always am ready for a great inspirational read. I find most autobiographies tend to either draw on or end too soon. Glad to see this one seems to be a perfect read! Thanks for the review!

I hear screams of fearlessness.Though I am not a fan of autobiography certainly, I am impressed by John scully.I believe we all feel jealous of a man of his qualities. Nice review!

I haven't experienced any kind of abuse, but I'm certainly curious to see if and how Mr. Scully jumps his hurdles to achieve his goals. Thank you for the review.

Your review is excellent for such an intriguing book with strong themes being put across! I love that the author stuck to his guns and made it work in spite of the challenges and obstacles. A great example to his own kids and to all of us with the daily struggles that we face. This would certainly be added to my Want to Read List! Great work!

Admittedly, I don't read a lot of non fiction, as I much prefer the escapism of fantastical fictional worlds...BUT...I love a well penned book and as sad as the book sounds, I am interested in how the author found success in achieving his original dream, although it sounds like it wasn't realised in the way he had imagined.

I found your review really helpful in aiding me to open my mind and step outside my comfort zone in the books I generally pursue, and despite suffering upset at certain points, you still gave the book full marks which suggests that it is a compelling read.

Oh wow! This is an amazing review. By reading just the title, I would have skipped the read. But your review, has me wanting to read it. Like the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover".

Going add this to my shelf. :D

361 pages for an autobiography could surely be a very detailed one. I empathize with the author. Perhaps, I couldn't get to where he's now if I'd been given a chance to walk on his shoes. A lot of lessons can be gained from reading this book. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this book and gave it a perfect rating. Thanks for the great review.
