Thank you, Shanna.

I felt as if I had lived and traveled through Europe reading this book. Huesing holds the reader's mind with events that could happen to anyone as our lives can easily spiral out of control by circumstances. He is able to relate other peoples perceptions of reality are not always kind to humanity as a whole. Our choices often can take other people's dreams far away. I recommend this book as a special journey to take.

I am not much of a historical fiction book reader, I would have loved to read the book since you did an excellent job writing about each of the characters. Congrats on the BOTD award!

Stories about mobs fascinated me as well as the people who need to be in protective custody. Al Capone is a special interest to me ever since they found his vault. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Even though I do not enjoy following historical work, I am hopeful that Abby White and her colleagues in college could make the narrative thrilling to read. The mafia team would also have criminal plots to counteract the activities of Abby and her friends.

I’m glad to read that the author seems to have put a lot of effort into accurately this historical period. I’ve recently read a number of nonfiction books set in this era and I’m interested in seeing how a fiction book with intertwining character plots represents the difficulties of wartime and political distrust.

I love how this crime thriller ties in diverse historical occurrences in the story. Hitler, Al Capone trials, stock market crash.. All these events in history are covered in the story. Well developed characters and an engaging story line make this a great read. I can't wait to read the entire book.
