Your review is excellent for such an intriguing book with strong themes being put across! I love that the author stuck to his guns and made it work in spite of the challenges and obstacles. Admittedly, I don't read a lot of non fiction, as I much prefer the escapism of fantastical fictional worlds...BUT...I love a well penned book and as sad as the book sounds, I am interested in how the author found success in achieving his original dream, although it sounds like it wasn't realised in the way he had imagined.

I found your review really helpful in aiding me to open my mind and step outside my comfort zone in the books I generally pursue, and despite suffering upset at certain points, you still gave the book full marks which suggests that it is a compelling read.

361 pages for an autobiography could surely be a very detailed one. I empathize with the author. Perhaps, I couldn't get to where he's now if I'd been given a chance to walk on his shoes.
