I always end up recommending Donna Tartt or Kazuo Ishiguro. Very different writers, for different interests.

Another author I usually recommend is Christina Lauren for the beautiful series and a lot of Linda Howard's novels and of course Hannah Howell for historical romance.

I have seen many people recommending Sandra Brown but even though I have read two of her books (Another Dawn and Rainwater) I cannot say I am a fan. Could someone recommend some of her best works so I could get a copy of her books. She has so many books out that I would not know what to choose. I'd really appreciate some help in deciding which book of hers I should try next..
