I'm in no rush. I'm pretty deep in another book, so I'll probably be fairly slow reading Toby for a bit longer.
Great! I will probably start it tomorrow. :)

I started the book and like it so far.

@Gravy Where are you in the book?

I just finished chapter four. Simon is back, despicable as ever!!

Spoiler:

Simon is married to Toby's mother?? I didn't expect that. :o I wonder why he came back and what does he plan.

Sounds like I'm fairly close to where you are. I actually stopped right after that, in the middle of a chapter (I hate doing that!).

Anyway, I love the twists that just keep happening. Toby is not a very reliable narrator (through no fault of her own) and it makes for some fun/interesting reveals!

I also dislike to stop in the middle of a chapter.

Indeed! I like the throw balls the author keeps throwing at us.

@Gravy where are you in the book? I just started chapter 12. Simon is really irritating. I wonder what his motives are, and if he is sincere. Probably not...

I'm on chapter 14. I know! And she's horrible!
Poor Luigaed. (And I still can't believe Toby brought her back from the dead!)
Simon is certainly an interesting character.

Toby is just on her way to Tybalt.

I love hitting that part of the book where it just flies. I'll probably get some more read in a bit. :)

Great! :)

Snow white indeed!

We reached the point where it becomes even more interesting. I will also continue reading later.

I just marathoned the last bit. There's so much going on in my head right now.

Do you have any theories taking root?

(Also, I figure I'll probably just jump into the next book. Hopefully prevent being behind again.)

About what?

McGuire certainly dropped many bombshells in this book. I didn't like the way Sylvester changed for the worst, and Luna is definitely off her rocket! I used to like them. And Simon is suddenly the good guy??

I wonder who Amandine's patents are. I was surprised to learn that Toby has a half-sister. We will probably hear about her in the next books.

I will start the new book tomorrow. :)

There's just a LOT of fan theories. I have a few, can't share them yet. :no-spoil:

Also, counting the next book (out in September), we are officially half-way through the series now! 😱

I know of one person who knew about Evening before this book.

(Basically, this whole series is one big puzzle, and I love it!)
