Xandon and the king's Sceptor is an Young Adult fantasy story, this book just exited me and caught my attention when I just read the blurb.
This book is an enthralling story of a twelve year old charming boy named Xandon. This story got my interest here, Xandon, our cute little hero was so sad and lonely. He was the only boy there with no last name. This story was set in the place Avondale. Xandon lives in the barn of the estate where he works. He is a poor orphan who lives there with the guidance of Mr and Mrs Forbentle.
Xandon is an animal lover. Come on, who on the earth hate animals right? But he has his own reasons to love them. That goes like this, they dont judge him for his dirty clothes, barefoot, his empty pocket..this list goes on...
Xandon and the King's Sceptor is an entertaining take on fantasy themed novel which was well written by our dear Author Tyson Vonn Beck. He has done a very good job especially the introduction part and the ending was very intrigued. I could resonate with Xandon a lot. He was a cute little boy who was treated horrendous by everyone. In some point he left the estate and went to Avondale guild for a knight training. He wasn't happy there too. There unties the mystery with sooo many twists and turns. In a nutshell, this novel takes you to the fantasy world to experience the bunch of emotions. Xandon and the King's Sceptor, was exceptionally well edited novel.
The thing that I didn't enjoy in this book was the middle part which i felt was so draggy and slow.It also had a numorous characters which was a little difficult for me to remember and I was just befuddled to go with the flow of the story.
I would like to rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.
I would recommend this book for a fantasy lover who likes to travel with the characters to unfold the mystery with them. I would say that children under 18 would be the perfect to pick out this book. Adults who love Young Adult fantasy could pick this book without giving a second chance.
