Nice review. I appreciate that this book touched you deeply but it won’t be for me. I’ve known someone who went to prison for a minor offense and heard how horrible it was for him. However, having been affected by violent crime I don’t think that I would have the ability to read this with an unprejudiced eye so I’ll be skipping it. Thanks for sharing though.

The story of Davin sounds like he not only endured harsh imprisonment for a crime he may not have committed but he also thrived by accomplishing many things while incarcerated. The book sounds inspiring and worth taking a look.

I like the concept of this book.

The American Criminal Justice System is so messed up, but so much of our literature about it focuses on the criminal, and not the family.

Despite being accused of murdsr, this boy is still a child, and his mother is bound to have a multitude of emotions during this time.

I’ve always been a sucker for a good criminal justice story... it sounds like I’ll be adding this to my list.

The hardships of being put into prison and how it effects the person's family, might be interesting to some. I don't think I would enjoy it that much because of the violence and the lack of clarity on a few issues. Thanks for your review.
