Re: Official Review: Reaching the Shore
Its a story of a young boy who has to survive by all means and I think I like the way he go about it, he found a reason to stay alive and motivate others.
Thanks to the writer

And at first, the quote in the book by JFK that 'having a child is handing a hostage to fate' made me think of Creed's With Arms Wide Open. In the music video, Stapp (lead singer) sings about the awe of becoming a parent, but the video shows him being bombarded by meteors from the sky. Thought it made no sense except that life DOES feel like that when you're a parent, having to protect innocence from never-ending attacks.
Anyway, then I read the rest of JFK's quote...he seems to have meant the opposite. More that a wife and children were hindrances to your full life. I was disappointed.
